2014- is my year of going beyond limits! This year I am going beyond my health and weight limits.
#countdownhasbegan (will explain soon)
Life ater ‘The Big Chop’ has had its ups and downs. Here’s a lil breakdown…
2 days after chopping my hair off with a pair of scissors, I asked Mr Man (a.k.a myTonga Bull) to take me to the local barbershop to ‘trim’ the ends and level it up.
What an experience!
What was meant to be a trim turned out to be a haircut (massacre)…long story short, I discovered that hair (or lack thereof) can invoke (yes invoke, cause that’s how deep it was) some deep rooted emotional skeletons…ones which in my case led me to tears and to the point of refusing to go to work the day after said ‘trimming’ ordeal.
Anywhoo…I’ve since been educated on how to comb said massacre by the very loving before mentioned Mr Man, (who has had several years experience in that area, despite having developed a preference for what im told the experts call a brush cut), and though it hasnt exactly been smooth sailing, its been a good 2 months.

Im still transitioning- emotionally.
Sometimes I love my hair and sometimes I hate it. It’s mine.

Theres nothing like the start of a New Year to get you motivated. It must be the feeling of a fresh start, new opportunities and the chance to re-write the book on one’s life- i believe there’s no better time than the new year to make your life over.
So here I am at the start of a new year. 2014- My year of going beyond limits. With this in mind, its time for me to set my goals for the year, starting with my health goals.
I started my health journey in 2013
Though I am happy with the progress I made in 2013, I am ready to go beyond my limits in 2014.
Today, 02/01/2014 I have got myself some special new walking shoes (hypothetical) and some new special kind of fuel (also hypothetical) and im ready for my Heath Journey: Reloaded and I’ve got my game face on.
So here are my goals (I’ve never actually shared my stats but hey, 2014, full disclosure)
New Year, New Me, Going Beyond Limits.
